The Community Sustainability Laboratory’s Fall 2011 Lecture Series presents the final lecture of the Semester this Thursday, December 1st, at noon, in Phelps Stokes, on the Berea College Campus. Kofi Taha, Associate Director of the MIT D-Lab, will be here to tell us about his work.
The D-Lab works to improve quality of life for people living in poverty, through the design and dissemination of low cost, appropriate technologies. Through 14 different classes and projects in more than 20 countries, D-Lab students partner with community members to work in the areas of health, energy, agriculture, information, and education.
